President Trump Slams Ilhan Omar, Praises Supporters Who Attended North Carolina Rally as “Patriots”

GWP:

President Trump on Friday defended his supporters who attended his North Carolina rally earlier this week against Democrat-media smears as “patriots.”

Trump also slammed radical Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar for her anti-Semitic and disgraceful comments.

“You know what I’m unhappy with? I’m unhappy with the fact that a congresswoman can hate our country.” Also, “She’s lucky to be where she is,” Trump said of the Somali-born Muslim lawmaker.

On Wednesday night after Trump mentioned Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar – who came to the United States as a child and became an American citizen at age 12 — the crowd at the North Carolina rally chanted “SEND HER BACK! SEND HER BACK!”

Then President Trump on Thursday disavowed the “send her back” chant, telling reporters “I was not happy with it. I disagree with it.”

In a new statement on Friday, Trump told reporters that the people who attended his North Carolina are great patriots.

  1. Keep it up dems, msm, etc. Every time you call Trump and fellow republicans racists and white supremacists you lose 1000 of your dem voters. So keep doing it please.

  2. Trump tells Hillary in the debate he’d put her in jail. His crowds at Trump rally’s chant lock her up, and he loves it. He says the freshman congress wimmin should go back where they came from. Trump rally crowds chant send her back, and the next day Trump disavows them. Is he now trying to apologize to his deplorables without really saying it? Whatever, I’m still on the Trump Train.

  3. joe6pak: I’m with you on this one. President Trump should not have disavowed what his supporters were chanting. It isn’t racist to tell people who hate America to go somewhere else.
