WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump will address the impeachment charges announced on Tuesday during the Senate trial phase of the proceedings, the White House said, continuing to choose not to argue the merits of the charges ahead of an expected vote by the Democratic-led House.
“The President will address these false charges in the Senate and expects to be fully exonerated, because he did nothing wrong,” White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham said in a statement. read more
McConnell and Graham better give him the opportunity to call the witnesses of his choosing or the SHIT WILL HIT THE FAN!!! They haven’t actually voted on impeachment yet though. I don’t know that the vote will pass. And I do know that every single Dem who votes in favor is going to have that hanging around their neck come election time in less than 11 months.
Contempt is a word, a meaningful one. What concerns me is personal contempt of a person, by some, will lead to conviction.
They all are in on ‘it’ so who really knows what the Senate will do.

I don’t like to wish for anything bad to happen to anyone, but I wouldn’t be all torn up about it if a lightning bolt came down on Graham and McConnell’s head.
We the people have a right to have all of it exposed and those that have committed crimes against us and the country to be charged with those crimes. They’re not impeaching Trump, they’re impeaching us because we didn’t vote the way we were supposed to in the primary and general election and members of both parties want their money to keep flowing.
These are not reasonable people and they have concocted an unreasonable and faulty impeachment process, which in itself should be null and void and without legal impact.
Before going any further, they should be stopped (or arrested) by U.S. Marshals (if possible) and involuntarily committed to a psychiatric hospital for evaluation before continuing to serve as House delegates.

He has stopped Trump from calling witnesses to the impeachment trial in the senate to speed it up and get it done before the end of New Years vacation on Jan 3rd. If the plan I have outlined here is in fact real, he will be there to preside over the senate to keep it open for the vote while many republicans are not there.”
Graham has stated that he will not call on Schiff or any congresscritters. Graham does not want/need any exposure.
