Prison phone scam

FOX5: CAMILLA, – One of the most successful phone scams these days operated out of a small, south Georgia town where the crooks get their food and shelter for free and have nothing but time on their hands.

If you received a call from someone threatening you with arrest if you don’t pay up for missing jury duty or IRS tax deadlines, chances are you were talking to an inmate at Jimmy Autry State Prison near Camilla.  more

  1. I remember a case years ago where a felon called a McDonalds and made a young girl strip for the manager because the felon pretended to be a cop and said she stole something.
    It was truly unbelievable.
    I mean SERIOUSLY UNfuckingbelieveable!!!
    Serious lawsuits and firings ensued.

  2. How about this?
If prisoners want hot food, hot showers and lights on after sunset they will pedal power generating bikes for 10 hours a day
That will take the starch out of them

  3. Real easy fix, jam the cells. We have the technology and can jam ALL incoming and outgoing transmissions. If the police and society are serious about stopping this, it can be done. As soon as it is done, be ready for the lawsuits that it would be inhuman to cut off communications that they are NOT allowed to have anyway.

  4. I haven’t been hit by one of those. . . yet. But I expect it any day now.
My response? Molan Laave. Bring a warrant and a lunch. I’ll be waiting. Oh, and, you DO know where I live? Tell me. Yep, that’s the one (even if it’s the wrong address).

  5. The IRS will never contact you my phone, they only send snail mail.

This is what happens when “self esteem” is emphasized over responsibility, morality or just common human decency. These cons are so full of self esteem they feel no regret scamming their fellow human beings who are trying to live a decent life.

These jerks should all be transferred to a isolated facility so far out in the boonies that there is no cell service and none will ever be provided.

  6. if the justice system actually applied the law equally and fully to the criminal element how long do you think it would be before the actual crime rate and prison population fell to statistical zero?

it’s not that crime pays for the criminal, it’s that crime pays for the criminal system. it’s business, just like the welfare state is a business.

take nyc for instance.giuliani cleaned it up by being hard on criminals and made life livable among the clash of cultures there. bloomberg and deblasio have wrecked it again by being soft on criminals.

we are besieged by the criminal element in our country because politicians are getting rich pretending to combat crime for us.
