Pro-Doug Jones Super PAC Using Voter Intimidation Tactics — Ad Claims ‘Your Vote Is Public Record’

By the way, they’re also recruiting felons to vote for Doug Jones.  Yes, felons. I thought that was pretty ironic.
[Story at the bottom]

Breitbart: Highway 31, a Birmingham-based pro-Doug Jones super PAC is using what could be perceived as voter intimidation tactics against Roy Moore by suggesting the votes cast in a December 12 special election are “public record.”

Beginning last week, some Alabamians were posting on social media about encountering online pre-roll video advertising making such a claim.

Breitbart News has obtained two of those ads, both which taken by a resident in the Montgomery, AL designated market area.

One declares Moore to be a “child predator,” a claim apparently based on a report that lays out decades-old allegations that he acted inappropriately and that he engaged in sexual misconduct with underage women while employed as a prosecutor in Etowah County, AL in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

After leveling the “child predator” charge, the narrator tells viewers their vote is public record, and their community will know if they “helped stop Roy Moore.”

“If you don’t vote, and Roy Moore – a child predator – wins, could you live with that? Your vote is public record and your community will know whether or not you helped stop Roy Moore,” she said.

Another shorter advertisement, clocked at five seconds, also declares your vote public record and says “you community will know whether or not you helped stop Roy Moore.”

At the end of each of those videos, the group Highway 31 claims responsibility for the ad and directs viewers to its website.

From another article…

Breitbart: Birmingham, ALABAMA — An organization partnered with a George Soros-financed group and led by a radical leftist who is the half-brother of the infamous controversial Rev. Al Sharpton has been diligently working over the past few weeks to register convicted felons across Alabama.

The aim of the effort has been to get as many felons as possible on the roster before last Monday, the deadline to register in order to vote in Alabama’s Dec. 12 senate special election that pits Republican Roy Moore against Democratic challenger Doug Jones.  The man spearheading the campaign has stated outright that his effort is meant to ensure a Democratic victory in Alabama.

The thousands of felons reportedly newly registered over the past few weeks were most likely not included in any recent polling on the Alabama senate race put out by major firms.

Jones himself is tied to some of the specific organizations associated with the drive to register felons here. Indeed, as Breitbart News first reported, Jones spearheaded a project for a massively Soros-financed legal activist group demanding full voting rights be given to felons released from prison, including those convicted of murder, rape and other violent crimes.

AL.com reported that Pastor Kenneth Glasgow has been at the forefront of the statewide effort, which has successfully registered thousands of felons across Alabama in recent weeks. Glasgow has been aided in his efforts here by other Soros-financed groups, including the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).

The Village Voice previously described Glasgow, Sharpton’s half-brother, as an “ex-con and recovering crackhead turned street preacher.”  MORE

  1. I can’t believe Jones, who is ashamed to be from Alabama, doesn’t see the irony of rounding up felons who committed actual crimes like fraud, murder, child rape, to vote for him as he’s accusing his rival of a crime, AND threatening the public to expose their voting record. LOLOL. I don’t know what’s worse. Jones or the dumbasses who will vote for him. Have mercy.

BTW, any chance those felons would actually show up to vote without sharpton’s brother threatening them? lol

  2. It’s time George Soros, his sons and their checkbook left the stage. He and his boys are the lowest of the low and no dirty trick is beneath their march to power. Don’t kid yourselves, he’s not seeking power for the candidates or the left in general, he’s seeking power for himself using tactics the Nasi’s would be proud of but that comes as no surprise as Soros and his father both worked for the Nazis in the war helping them ship fellow jews to the death canps.

  3. I was once a Precinct Committee Chairman. Before each election I could be given a printout of how people tended to vote in the precinct, Democrat, Republican, mixed, etc. That was an eye opener. This chart was listed by voter name.

  4. At this point I think conservative voters are saying, “Bring it on,” so I don’t think they care whether their votes are being exposed or not. Trying to be shy about things has seen the country circle around the drain. They are willing to stand up and be counted.

  5. I wonder what the real mood on the ground is like in Alabama. I never thought there were enough black criminals, homos, child rapists, luciferian lawyers and banksters, and blm types to make such a big impact. Are there really that many degenerate scumbags there? I was always under the impression that with some exceptions, Alabama was still removed from the urban ghetto – leftist hippie scumbag culture.

  6. Whether you vote or not is public record. How you vote is secret. Even in Alabama, so the ad is an outright lie. As to felons voting, isn’t that illegal everywhere except Virginia? If so, Roy Moore should start his own ad campaign to the effect that if felons register and vote illegally, they will forfeit their parole.

  7. That is foisting intimidation.
jones may be able to find out how people _did_ vote, but that will have little importance because the voters of Arkansas know how jones _will_ vote, and they will act accordingly.
Maybe jones wants to write his version of “wut happened- the jones diaries.”
