Professor Fired For Saying Otto Warmbier ‘Got Exactly What He Deserved’

Daily Caller:

EXACTLY WHAT SHE DESERVES-

The University of Delaware has sacked Katherine Dettwyler, the taxpayer-funded professor who declared that Otto Warmbier was a “spoiled,” “white, rich, clueless” American college student who “got exactly what he deserved” when he recently ended up comatose and then died at the age of 22 after serving part of a lengthy prison sentence in North Korea.

“The University of Delaware has announced that Katherine Dettwyler, who last taught in the spring as an adjunct faculty member, will not be rehired to teach at the University in the future,” school officials said in a statement sent to The Daily Caller on Sunday. read more

  1. Horrible human being exposes her horribleness, and gets what she deserves.
    Good and hard.

The administration was deluged in negative emails and phone calls demanding she be fired. My wonderful wife is great at these.

    The cultural tide is turning.

The Left must learn there is no future for them in our country.

  2. It almost seems that the push back is growing, quickly.

Every time I see a progressive idiot get canned for making horrid statements, I get great joy. Guess I’m going to hell.

  3. Imagine that, a moral relativist using a moral absolute to denounce a moral absolute. Is it any wonder they are incoherent people on the Left?

This is the most hateful utterance.

  4. Lots of winning going on today! Supreme Court reinstates the Trump ban sans one condition, ruled in favor of a preschool to get funding for a playground after it was denied because they were “religious”. Libs finally getting a taste of what it is like to be accountable for their actions.

    I feel good!

  5. She should be assassinated in a school play. She should have her house burned down by the muslim student association. She should have her family members raped. Reporters should state she “asked for it” like Scalise did. She should be targeted by a modern day John Wilkes Booth. She should have her severed bloody head held up in class by another professor. You know…. like Trump.

  6. Except for the whole “white” thing she has a point. College students today (mostly from the liberal, expensive ones) are being churned out in every color as jerks who can’t understand when they don’t get what they want, when the world doesn’t rotate around them and are only interested in whatever social justice project interests them in that moment. They are spoiled, self centered, mean, bullying clueless youths who demand everything but are prepared to do nothing. Read her rants again without the white male stuff and she’s pretty spot on in many things (certainly not all) she says. Pretty surprising coming from what is most probably a leftist prog. I suspect her charge that the kid “got what he deserved” but that may have been a little hyperbole on her part. At least I hope so.

  8. I do not believe that those of us who see logical consequences being used in cases such as this are any where near going to hell. God allows much to happen in this world until we come to our senses and then he allows us to right the wrongs being done. No hell – only heaven on earth.

  9. Now I do believe that breast feeding does build trust and stability for a child, my own mother breast fed most of my siblings until we were 3 or 4. But SEVEN? That’s… well, it’s disgusting. :/
