WE: Federal prosecutors are seeking 39 months in jail for the man who assaulted Rep. Angie Craig (D-MN) in her Washington, D.C., apartment building in February.
Kendrid Khalil Hamlin pleaded guilty to one count of assault on a member of Congress and two counts of assault on a law enforcement officer in June for the incident. The recommended sentence from the U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia also recommended three years of supervised release after the more than three-year jail sentence. more here
