Protests Against Gov. Newsom’s Curfew Throughout California and at Newsom’s House

California Globe:

During the weekend, protests against Gov. Gavin Newsom’s statewide California curfew were held throughout the state, drawing thousands to break the curfew.

The curfew, which went into effect for 95% of the state starting on Saturday, was immediately met with resistance from citizens who opposed such an order, with many calling into question the legality of it and how it would be detrimental to family gatherings or other needs not covered by the curfew exceptions from 10 PM to 5 AM.

In Bakersfield and Fresno, crowds of about 100 each turned up. Many San Diegans opted for more smaller sporadic protests on street corners, with a group of about 50 protesting outside of Chico city Hall up north. A group of about 100 also protested in Redding.

However, many other areas had much larger protests, or protests outside of high-profile areas. Both Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti had large protests outside each of their residences. In the case of Garcetti’s protest on Sunday, the decision of LA County to shut down all outdoor restaurant business during the weekend also played a large factor.

  1. Brad, nice brag, I just got wood. I assume that was AFTER the 10pm curfew?

Bad foresight on Newsome’s part, to buy a house in a predominantly red area, what a maroooooon!!!

Do we even know if he was home? Does he stay in Sacramento during the week and come home on weekends? A good indicator would be if there is a CHP presense at his residence.

  2. OT, but funny as hell, Apple’s chief security officer just got indicted for bribery, he gave the Santa Clara (West Bay Area) sheriff’s office 200 free ipads in exchange for 4 gun permits, for him and his family. Seems that even the libbiest of libtards still want protection and know that a handgun is the best way to provide it.

I believe he was there as he and the rest of the brood were suppose to be quarantining. I was told, by some very unhappy neighbors of his, that this went on until about midnight. D’Agostini, our Sheriff is a Patriot. He’s already announced that our Sheriff’s department would not be enforcing curfews or any other unconstitutional bull shit. D’Agostini had one of his deputies murdered by some Mex Cartel member, growing dope in a remote part of the county shortly after Newsom took office. Newsom not only did not attend the memorial, nobody from the Governors office even showed up. D’Agostini called him out on it publicly in a very blunt manner. Also our DA and D’Agostini put their heads together and go the two cartel member charged in Federal Court. As you know California bends over backwards to let Mex killers off scott free.

  4. If people were found doing to dogs what governors are doing to us, they would be brought up on animal cruelty charges. There’s a lot more to life than being protected under the guise of safety. People need love, compassion, friendship, family, etc. It’s inhumane to take these things away from people because there’s nothing left to the meaning of life.
