Remains of decapitated goats found behind Burger King in New York, SPCA described incident as ‘ritualistic sacrifice’

Officials from the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals described a gruesome discovery in Farmingdale, New York, as a “ritualistic sacrifice.”

The remains of two headless goats were found in black plastic bags behind a Burger King on Broadhollow Road on Thursday, according to police.

Detectives with Suffolk County’s SPCA said that other items found at the scene also supported the idea of a ritualistic sacrifice.

Roy Gross, chief of the Suffolk County SPCA, said that they were offering a reward of $2,000 for information leading to the arrest of whoever was responsible for what he called a “barbaric act of animal cruelty for unjustifiably harming, mutilating, or killing an animal.”

A photograph from the Suffolk County SPCA showed the black plastic bags in a pile on a shaded grass area near what appeared to be a parking lot. more

  1. Muslims bringing their culture here to the US? That’s shocking but something that can easily be excused. Please, by all means, continue the decapitations.

  2. C’mon, man! This wasn’t “ritualistic sacrifice” — it was just a minimum wage BK employee too lazy to strip the whole goat carcass for burger patties. Heads are hard!
