…as I said in an earlier thread, this is all VERY familiar to anyone involved in patient care in the ’80s when AIDS broke. I’d felt that for awhile and some other folks told me they did too, and yesterday I heard it again from another nurse.
I was at a family memorial service and got to talking to a family member who got her LPN in the ’70s and was nursing when AIDS became a thing in the ’80s, around the same time I started running Squad with AIDS patients. We got to talking about the COVID and about how the hysteria and misinformation was very, very similar at first, even rumors that it could be transmitted by sweat or sneeze, and this was largely fueled by an alarmist in the CDC, an NIH doctor there, a guy by the name of Anthony Fauci.
And then, as now, there were a LOT of things that Fauci had going on.
Republican President? Check.
Same alarmist way of making a name for himself? Check.
Same hyping of a disease for political reasons? Check.
A Clinton White House to be controlled by his love on the line? Check.
Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose.
…like the devil he would have us share his sympathy for, he’s been around for a long, long time.
…and caused nothing but trouble for ALL of it.
We didn’t scare as easy because Obamacare hadn’t chased all the experienced doctors out of practice and politicized medical payments yet, they hadn’t yet created 47 new catagories of nurses so they could lower the training standards, and Soros didn’t own NEARLY as many Governors and Attorneys General as he does NOW, so it didn’t completely work.
But it was a good test run for them.
For TODAY.
…the devil is not creative. All he can do is use the same bag of tricks over and over.
The only thing that makes them effective is he keeps getting a new generation to try them on.
And THIS generation was taught, in Govenment schools, to be VERY dismissive of their elders.
And so the devil gets a clean slate to work with.
Look at the Bible. At the end of Genesis, Joseph had saved Egypt, was set at the right hand of Pharaoh, and all his people lived together in Egypt at the invitation and with the gratitude of Pharaoh.
Then 10 paragraphs into the next book, Exodus, all Israel is in chains.
What happened?

…yep, a new generation took over, with new ideas and wanting to go a different way. The past didn’t matter, it is the current year, as the kids say.
