This is pretty much the standard worldwide for government run healthcare.
Heads need to roll. Starting from the top all the way down. Until that starts happening nothing’s going to change.
This IS government run, single-payer healthcare!
Who wants to be first?
Stuff happens folks.. Some illnesses and outcomes are unpreventable in the already sick and infirm. The traumatic injury “brusing” looked like it occurred on the patients affected side…
Now he has poor circulation.. He may also be taking blood thinners… All the innocent makings of what would traumatic..
You can be septic up to your hospital admission and be symptom free…
Hospital ER docs are great for consigning blame elsewhere..
Now go look at medicaid and Medicare facilities
Most nursing home care employees are not there because they are quality capable, but because it is where they can get jobs. (Government employed are very difficult to fire for incompetence). The jobs are not high-paying positions and the work conditions are not usually pleasant. Caring compassion is really necessary, but not a quality of character that everyone has. Quality of temperament is not of prime consideration to the home director, but availability. Top-notch, nursing trained applicants probably wouldn’t even apply. Low IQ. under-educated, low on ethics, foreign immigrants are the most likely to get employed. Possibly, if the nursing home is Catholic run, adequately trained nuns might be in service to care at lower pay, if any. But hopefully with more compassion and carefulness.
