DanBongino: New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio personally intervened in the prosecution of an accused anti-Semitic attacker because her repeated assaults against Jewish people were creating a PR nightmare for him, according to the New York Post.
Tiffany Harris, 30, had repeatedly been released from custody after being arrested for multiple anti-Semitic attacks last month, including an incident where she slapped three Orthodox Jewish women and shouted “F-U, Jews!”
City Hall contacted the state Office of Court Administration about Harris, forcing a judge to hold an unscheduled hearing on New Year’s Eve.
Court transcripts show that Harris’ attorney, Lisa Schreibersdorf, complained to the judge that press coverage of Harris’ case had led the Mayor’s office to intervene, saying “that was not the press they wanted.”
Schreibersdorf said to the judge, “The mayor of the executive branch of the government got involved because of a press case.”
“We’re on the cusp of reform taking place in a few hours from now, and that was not the press they wanted, so what they did was they tried to find a way to intervene in the court process in a different branch of government, getting everybody involved in trying to address this.” MORE

Tiffany Harris stated she continued to be arrested for anti-semitic attacks because she wanted more door prizes upon release
