Bloomberg’s Jennifer Jacobs and Jennifer A. Dlouhy write that Rick Perry tops president-elect Donald Trump’s short list of candidates for U.S. Secretary of Energy.

Donald Trump has narrowed his search for energy secretary to four people, with former Texas Governor Rick Perry the leading candidate.
People familiar with the president-elect’s selection process said two Democratic senators from energy-producing states — Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota and Joe Manchin of West Virginia — are also in the mix, along with Ray Washburne, a Dallas investor and former chairman of the Republican National Committee.
First test should be on pronounciation. If it’s nuc-U-ler – next.

Perry shouldn’t be on the short list. He’s six foot one.
I’m disappointed that Sarah Palin isn’t on hi list. She laid the ground work for this revolution by helping create the Tea Party and standing by it when the media and liberals tried to destroy it, she had a helluva a record for supporting actual conservative in Congress and the Senate and helping them get elected which is changing the face of politics, she was an early supporter of the movement that was propelling Trump forward (supported by the Tea Party) and did come out and to support Trump after she’d seen enough of him. She campaigned for conservative candidates throughout the election. She’s smart, able and experienced and if she’s being passed over because of one remark on wondering how or what he promised about keeping the Carrier jobs in the country then that lowers my opinion of Trump.
