Retired NYPD sergeant brutally beaten with punches to the head

Lifezette: A chilling video is going viral this week showing a retired NYPD sergeant being brutally beaten with over a dozen punches to the head in broad daylight. The entire incident, which happened on Tuesday morning in Manhattan, was captured on surveillance footage.

The video opens with the police sergeant talking to his attacker for at least a minute outside a Garment District deli on West 39th Street, according to the New York Post. The suspect, who has since been identified as 20-year-old Masterjadin Roman, then throws what appears to be a bottle at the retired officer.

The retired cop responds by charging at Roman, who immediately lifts him and slams him onto the sidewalk. That’s when the beating begins, with Roman landing over a dozen punches to the retired sergeant’s head. more here

  1. The thugs and the residents know that De Blasio has given the city to the thugs. Nobody wanted to do anything because Roman and his thug buddy were going to be back on that corner within hours and they could pick anyone they wanted to and beat them to a bloody pulp, with the same official response.

When I say De Blasio gave the city to the thugs, I mean that the idiot majority who voted for him — twice — gave the city to the thugs.

  2. As a retired NYPD Officer this of course saddens me of course. If you are gonna get involved with the ones that are 3rd up on the evolutionary chart you gotta be ready/prepared. Handle it with your hands or a weapon. Take some kind of lessons on how to throw a proper punch and maintain distance. I am in no way talking down to the victim, just making an overall statement

  3. If you’re gonna get involved n a fight where you’re outclassed you better make sure you have something to equalize it first or just walk away so you’ll be around to fight another day.

  4. I am waiting to see how long it will take for certain
criminally inclined NYC dwellers to start “disappearing”
often enough for the media to pick up on their getting
    lost in the Jersey flats.
