Rev. Graham’s Samaritan’s Purse Opens Field Hospital to Treat Coronavirus Patients in NYC’s Central Park

CNS- A field hospital to treat coronavirus patients opened in the center of New York City’s iconic Central Park on Tuesday, thanks to Rev. Franklin Graham’s emergency response organization, Samaritan’s Purse.

“This is a 68-bed hospital with doctors and nurses that are trained in infectious diseases. They’ve had experience all over the world, to include in places like Africa dealing with Ebola,” Edward Graham, Samaritan’s Purse spokesman and son of Rev. Franklin Graham, explained in an interview with Fox & Friends First. read more

  1. Christ on earth through the hands of these people. They are doing what Christians are called to do – love all people, whether they are your friends, strangers or your enemies.

  2. …I LOVE seeing all those crosses on all those tents in the very CENTER of one of satan’s strongholds…I bet that angers Commie DeBlasio no end, and is a wonder to the REST of the devil’s minions, like the Muslims and Godless Communists who have infected this once-great City even as the plauge has, to behold what was intened as a symbol of torture turned into a banner of hope, for both THIS world, and the NEXT…and if you don’t see that ALONE as a miraculous testimony to the glory of God that overcomes ALL, then pray the scales get lifted from your eyes, for the Lord has bearded the Enemy by raising His standard in the very HEART of all the misery and despair the enemy has worked so HARD to create…

God Bless those men and women, and God help us all in these trying times.

  3. Anyone have pictures of these emergency field hospitals and facilities full of patients?

An internet search doesn’t readily provide pictures of them actually being used.

“Anyone have pictures of these emergency field hospitals and facilities full of patients?”

…HIPAA rules and just plain human decency would prohibit photographing the wards with patients in them, however they may be constructed.

…anyone who were to photograph ME in a hospital gown better hope I die, because I WILL find them if I recover…

  5. Driving around on Monday I heard the radio news reports at the top and bottom of the hours. Here’s how they reported on this medical facility being set up in Central Park:

“…A Christian organization…led by a son of the late Billy Graham…”

They didn’t name FRANKLIN GRAHAM or his organization in the news report. Yes, really. Is FRANKLIN GRAHAM a nobody all of a sudden? He’s no minor media/cultural figure. And his organization…SAMARITAN’S PURSE…they couldn’t include this in the report?

  6. The hospital ships (one in San Diego, I believe) and the one off NY are to be used for non KungFlu patients.
The kungfluers are to stay in the regular hospitals because of all the operating rooms, etc.
The purpose of the Navy Mercy Ships are for everything else, IF the regular hospitals overflow.

  7. Ted,

Billy was an apostate ecumenical Baptist with a weak gospel. Liberals loved him because he never very political, if at all. Wasn’t a threat.

Franklin is theologically little better but is more overtly political than his dad, so he’s more of a target.
