Richard Cordray Out of a Job, Again

WFB: Democrat who orchestrated failed coup at CFPB loses Ohio governor’s race.

Richard Cordray, the former director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau who tried and failed to appoint his own successor, is out of a job again.

The liberal Democrat lost his race to become Ohio’s next governor to Republican Mike DeWine by a margin of 50 to 46 percent.

Last year when Cordray resigned from the CFPB, he attempted to usurp President Donald Trump’s authority to appoint a successor and installed his chief of staff Leandra English as “acting director” of the agency.

  1. One of the bright spots from the elections. His running mate, Betty Sutton, was the wasted mind behind Cash for Clunkers. Another bright spot was the massive failure of Issue 1 in Ohio. Sadly Shitrod Brown was reelected.

  2. We are not real fond of DeWine on a few issues. He has us conservatives a little nervous. But we defiantly hate Cordray.

If Renacci had got into the race Earlier, we could have finally flushed
    Brown down.

  3. Cordray was Soros’ bitch. Suck it, Gyorgi. Maybe you should have started Cordray off a little lower on the totem pole. A political hack who’s never been elected to anything, and whose only previous experience is running a fake agency created by a fake Indian to create Democrat slush funds, should take baby steps like Donna Shalala did in winning a House seat. Maybe Soros can get him a gig opening mail at the the Open Society Policy Center.

  4. I’m with ShakeNBake. DeWine is shakey, but Cordrey would’ve been an utter nightmare. And after that sumbitch Kasich, I think most Ohioans figure that DeWine couldn’t possibly be worse!

Brown needed to go, for sure. He was actually airing commercials about saving our puppies from Chinese poisoned dog food at the end! Ugh!
