Roger Waters told the crowd at a recent Free Assange event that he told Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg to “f-ck of” when the Big Tech giant asked to use a Pink Floyd song in an ad for Instagram.
Waters is a longtime and outspoken supporter of Assange and press freedom.
According to the iconic musician, Zuckerberg offered a “huge, huge amount of money” to use the 1979 Pink Floyd classic “Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2.”
“It arrived this morning, with an offer for a huge, huge amount of money,” Waters said. “And the answer is, ‘F-ck You. No f-ckin’ way.’” more
