Roy Moore Press Conference: ‘Cease and Desist’ Letter Sent to TV Stations Over ‘Patently False’ Ad

Breitbart: At a press conference on Thursday, Roy Moore campaign spokesperson Ben DuPre called on television stations across Alabama to comply with a “cease and desist” letter and stop airing a “false” ad purchased by Highway 31.

Highway 31 ia a shell independent expenditure group that has been used by Washington, D.C. based political consulting firms founded by former Obama campaign staffers to push out $3.4 million of anti-Moore, pro-Jones political messaging in the Alabama U.S. Senate special election between GOP nominee Moore and liberal Democrat Doug Jones, to be held next Tuesday.

“We all know that politics is a blood sport, as Judge Moore knows all too well. But even violent sports like SEC football and mixed martial arts have rules. And cheaters who break the rules and lie to get ahead or to prevent a fair fight should be called out and denounced,” DuPre said. read more

  1. They were airing an ad that said that Roy Moore was banned from the Gadsden Mall which has been proven to patently false. They also were airing an ad that was saying that our votes would be made public and people would know who voted for Moore, the pedophile (their words not mine). Our state AG actually had the ads pulled.

  2. If I know anything about southerners the more crap they pile on Moore the voters will get their backs up and vote him in. In a way it’s like talking down to Alabamans, and that’s never worked out well.

  3. I don’t see any money from Hillary’s new grift, Onward Together, in this race. It seems like this one would be right up her alley. I guess she knows Jones is toast, and she has to be more frugal with her loot now. But that wouldn’t stop her from taking credit if Jones somehow did win.

    > I don’t see any money from Hillary’s new grift, Onward Together

They already sent all the money that was left over, after “shipping and handling” fees.

  5. I’m just glad to see someone fight back against the left’s deceit and subterfuge. They’ve gotten away with the character assassination for far too long. President Trump started a new trend!

  6. ALABAMIANS, not ALABAMANS. B’ham tv is running a Moore ad with a yankee voiceover using the term ALABAMANS . That might backfire on Moore. We may be getting a little oversensitive with all the negative attention .

  7. This cracked me up, Frank Luntz is as flabbergasted as the rest of the establishment that folks just don’t buy their shit anymore and think for themselves.

You see people who think for themselves question crap that smells and this smelled from the get go. Southern women have never been swooning Belles and most were raised to defend themselves. Hell, our Daddies taught us men can’t be trusted and that’s not a knock on men, our Mama’s taught our brothers that women can’t be trusted. We were never so thinned skinned that a man hitting on us had us in vapors.

But, most people, men and women alike don’t give a shit what a man did or did not do 40 years ago, we care what a man does today. I get exactly what these people are saying, you vote for a man that is Pro-God, Pro-Family, Pro-Country, you don’t vote for a man who thinks a woman can kill a baby up until birth, men in a skirt should piss in a woman’s bathroom and wants our borders open and lay out the red carpet for those who want to take a knife to young girls vaginas and cut off our heads.
