Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani sustained multiple injuries and was hospitalized after his vehicle was “struck from behind at high speed” by a car on Saturday in New Hampshire.
Michael Ragusa, the head of Giuliani’s security, issued a statement explaining that Giuliani had been involved in a “motor vehicle accident” after he was flagged down by a domestic violence victim. After helping the woman and calling 911, while “traveling on the highway,” a vehicle struck Giuliani’s car “from behind at high speed.”
Giuliani was later transported to a nearby hospital “where he was diagnosed with a fractured thoracic vertebrae,” and “multiple lacerations and contusions.” Giuliani also sustained “injuries to his left arm and lower leg.” more

…if youre going to get involved in a domestic, head on a swivel at all times. That other car could have been driven by the other domestic party, a communist hit man, or just an idiot driver with a target fixation, all kimds of fun happens along the highway when blinky lights cluster in thr night.
I appreciate his balls and his heart but an 80+ yo maybe should let his security folk take the lead in roadside emergencies, seeing as how you never can tell what youre getting into until youre into it…

…”the head” implies more than one. The article doesnt tell us anything, but I assume they werent hired to stay at his house and play pinochle with each other while hes out busting up domestics along the highway…
