San Bernardino County to Sue Governor Newsom Over KungFlu Restrictions

WFB:

Officials in California’s San Bernardino County are suing Gov. Gavin Newsom (D.) over his statewide coronavirus reopening plan, arguing the state’s “one-size-fits-all” restrictions don’t suit the conditions in many communities.

In a unanimous vote Tuesday, supervisors of the largest county by area in the contiguous 48 states requested county attorneys prepare a lawsuit that would challenge Newsom’s restrictions, the San Bernardino Sun reports. The supervisors said some communities in the sprawling county should be evaluated in light of their lower caseloads and local conditions instead of being treated the same as the rest of the county.

“The temperatures are dropping,” Supervisor Janice Rutherford said. “There is snow on the ground in some places, yet according to the governor’s orders, people are expected to eat outside. It’s ridiculous.” more

I dunno. There were always lines at the recall spots. On the week ends they were really busy.
I live in El Dorado County and ran into a Deputy at Starbucks. I asked him if he was a COVID Cop now. He laughed and said, hell no. Watch the News. Our Sheriff is not enforcing any Covid related crap.
