KFI: Yesterday U.S. Customs and Border Protection confirmed that Trump’s border wall will start construction in the San Diego border town of Otay Mesa.

The area has one of two border crossings in San Diego, and will be the site where 20 chosen bidders will put up their proposed walls.

Winners will be selected around June 1st.

The prototypes will be 30 feet long and 30 feet high, and will be built on a quarter-mile strip of federal land with in 120 feet of the border.

  1. A border wall will be somewhat of a deterrent but largely symbolic.
The larger problem is the undesirable immigrants that arrived during the last administration.(Thanks, barry.) This invasion will continue until policy changes.
Cutting benefits to illegals would be a good start.

    “Refugees”, my ass.

  2. Great way to get it right, a true test of which works best for the money.
I can’t recall seeing a major federal project tested in real life before a descision is made… Brilliant !!!

  3. In order for the border to work, we need to slap around some politicians and big bidness who hire illegals knowingly. Including the “Catholic Charities” which is nothing but a Prog store front for the democrats.

  4. I don’t get why the big fuss over property acquisition. The property owners along the border would welcome the added security of the wall, unless they have a vested interest in illegal immigration. Obtain the easements and do it! If the property owners are disagreeable, E.D. it, but get it done.
