Sanders’ 2016 Spokeswoman: Bernie’s Socialism Can’t Beat Donald Trump

She previously claimed none of the Democrats running in 2020 were socialist.

WFB:

Sen. Bernie Sanders’s (I., Vt.) former campaign spokeswoman criticized the Vermont senator’s brand of socialism Wednesday, saying that running on socialism will help President Donald Trump win in 2020.

“The last point that I will make, and I think it’s something many people are talking about today, Senator Sanders branded himself as a socialist. That is a moniker he himself has embraced, but that is not a moniker that folks across this country, when it comes to down-ballot candidates will be able to embrace and be successful,” said Symone Sanders, who now serves as a senior adviser to Joe Biden. “This is about keeping the House, this is about gaining seats in the Senate, and this is about beating Donald Trump. And you can’t beat Donald Trump with double-talk on health care and … we can’t beat Donald Trump with socialism across this country.” read more

Mumbo Jumbo Gumbo from a nuther bullshit artist/advisor to Jackass Joe who used to advise Bernie.
Now there’s a successful career path if I ever saw one !🙄!
How many Socialists leave our country to go live in a Socialist country each year to escape Capitalism?

  2. The reason Sander’s socialism can’t beat Trump is because voters are brain dead morons.

As bad as Bernies socialism is, and it’s bad, it still isn’t as bad as Trump’s money printing fiasco for the future of our country.

Hint: We have already ‘moved on’ from capitalism. Capitalism is the free movement of capital to it’s highest and best use. It REQUIRES valid price discovery. But now the economy has nothing to do with price discovery and prices are 100% correlated to central bank money printing. This is not capitalism. And Trump is egging the central bank on to do ever more of it.

The US is not going to dodge the effects and fruits of having a centrally managed economy just because we are the high and mighty US of A.

Capitalism is over and the trajectory for this country is down.

If you still harbor this fantasy that it’s just a ‘bubble’ that will come down in the next recession, do yourself a favor and check out a chart of Venezuela’s stock market. It’s a country that can’t even put food on the shelves of stores but it’s stock market is litterally on the moon.

There is one thing that Keynes got right. And it is this quote:
“By a continuing process of inflation governments can confiscate, secretly and unobserved, an important part of the wealth of their citizens. By this method they not only confiscate, but they confiscate arbitrarily; and, while the process impoverishes many, it actually enriches some. The sight of this arbitrary rearrangement of riches strikes not only at security, but at confidence in the equity of the existing distribution of wealth.

Those to whom the system brings windfalls, beyond their deserts and even beyond their expectations or desires, become ‘profiteers,’ who are the object of the hatred of the bourgeoisie, whom the inflationism has impoverished, not less than of the proletariat. As the inflation proceeds and the real value of the currency fluctuates wildly from month to month, all permanent relations between debtors and creditors, which form the ultimate foundation of capitalism, become so utterly disordered as to be almost meaningless; and the process of wealth-getting degenerates into a gamble and a lottery.

And Lenin was certainly right: There is no subtler, no surer means of overturning the existing basis of society than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose.”

The country thinks it’s doing great because the stock mkt is going up. In reality, the country is in it’s last throws toward oblivian.

By the time your grandkids have grown up, it will be other countries telling the US to eat shit or they will sanction us.

Put your head in the sand and deny it if you want. But that does not change reality. Money printing is the most pernicious device there is for destroying a society and that is exactly what this ‘boom’ is.

  3. hey mr reality

yes the central bank is going to be the death of us as planned by the globalists
but you cannot be serious that bernies socialism is the cure?

    funny very funny

how come the elimination of the central bank is not the cure if it’s the cause in the first place?

(libia was going to coin it’s own money without a central bank and you know what happened?
hillary and obama came and saw and killed khadafi)

trump didn’t institute the central bank when he won election
and because he hasn’t eliminated it he’s to blame?
how much help would he get from the other branches of government to eliminate the central bank?

my reality needs to come live in the real world

  4. “Controlled Inflation” and “Managed Decline” have been the earmarks of Western Civilization since Bretton Woods.
Think of it as traversing half the distance to the wall, each designated period.
YOU NEVER REACH THE FUCKING WALL.

And THAT’s what they’re counting on. What’re a couple of zeroes?
So what if the REAL debt (unfunded liabilities) is $220 Trillion or $440 Trillion? It ain’t gonna get paid off, anyway! Make it $20 Gazillion! Who gives a fuck? We’re gonna be dead, anyway, so the illiterate, innumerate great-grand-kids can figure it out!
Same as the socialists promising to “cancel” student debt! How’s that work?
You can’t just “cancel” a debt! It’ll be paid off by someone else. The lie continues.

  5. Good points Bill.
Trump was given this when he became president. There is going to be a reset, it is the unspoken truth, a third rail. Who do you want in the Whitehouse when it happens? A communist? Paper money always fails given time and not being backed by gold.

  6. hey mr reality – It’s 12:10PM and I see you still don’t have an answer to my question:
How many Socialists leave our country to go live in a Socialist country every year to escape Capitalism?

  7. @Mr. Reality,

I admit that I have little understanding of economics. OTOH, economics is not science, and there is no set of agreed upon principles or rules that apply to it. The result is that nobody really completely understands it.

If you are going to quote Keynes with his division of the population into opposing groups called profiteers (capitalists?) bourgeoisie, and proletariat, you stumble right out of the starting gate with this Marxist junk. Keynes: all permanent relations between debtors and creditors, which form the ultimate foundation of capitalism, become so utterly disordered as to be almost meaningless…”

How so? I have a mortgage to pay. I am a debtor. I don’t expect the relationship between me and the mortgage holder (the bank) to become utterly disordered. I don’t expect our roles to reverse.

Again, Keynes as follows: (the relations) between debtors and creditors, which form the ultimate foundation of capitalism…” is debatable as the main foundation of capitalism. The practice of lending of money (with interest or not) and banking was around long before capitalism. There are more facets to capitalism than that the relationship between debtors and lenders. How about the relationship between capital and labor? The various freedoms that capitalism helped create? The institution of free labor?

  8. @Mr. Reality,

    You quote Keynes here:

And Lenin was certainly right: “There is no subtler, no surer means of overturning the existing basis of society than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose.”

No, not “certainly right”. The socialist supporting media and entertainment industries are certainly using a more subtler means of overturning the exisiting basis of society: the oversexualized sickness that has invaded our music, movies, TV, and academic worlds. That has ruined the institution of the family, the key support structure for a healthy society.

    And also from Keynes:

“Those to whom the system brings windfalls, beyond their deserts and even beyond their expectations or desires, become ‘profiteers,’ who are the object of the hatred of the bourgeoisie…”

The so-called bourgeoisie, or the so-called proletarians don’t hate profiteers as much as wanting to become profiteers themselves. It’s the Marxists and socialists who have always hated the capitalists, ignoring the tremendous advances that capitalism has provided to us lucky enough to live in America and other capitalist societies.

This Marxist economic nonsense was conceived in the brain of a wealthy English homosexual snob. Who needs it?
