Sarah Palin: Men Don’t ‘Mess with Me’ Because They ‘Know I’m Probably ‘Packing’”

CNS: As Senator Al Franken’s (D-MN) sexual harassment scandal was breaking Thursday, an MSNBC reporter asked former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin if she’d ever been harassed in the workplace.

Palin’s response: most people know she carries a firearm for self-defense, so they don’t give her trouble:

Reporter: “Have you ever experienced sexual harassment in the workplace as a ambitious woman in public life?”

Palin: “You know, I think a whole lot people know that I’m probably ‘packing’ – so, I don’t think there’s a whole lot of people who would necessarily mess with me.”

Palin, then, acknowledged that workplace harassment is a serious issue – but, warned that the current public atmosphere could “lead to a lot of false accusations” that harm innocent people:  Watch

  1. She may have a point. Scumbags the likes of Franken are a lot less likely to abuse a woman when there’s a chance that he might get a tunnel bored through his brain.

  2. Aww, missed opportunity to reframe the debate and explode some heads. She should have said she never had to worry about workplace harassment, because she was rarely in the presence of democrat-voting liberal men.

  3. Good to hear from Sarah again. Regarding the accusations I think she has a very good point as per false accusation. I also think that people (the media, SJW, Libbers etc) aren’t making a difference between what could be a bad pass at a woman and sexual harrassment. If a geeky fellow asks a girl out and she says no because she has other plans (basically to let him down easy) and then he asks her again the following week if that was filed as sexual harrassment I’d bet money that the guy would be punished. As much as I enjoy watching the Hollywood screw each other over I’m beginning to be concerned it may lead to something worse and unless penalties are put into place for false accusations this will spread everywhere.
