A federal judge just gave Sarah Palin a huge win and the New York Times a devastating loss. The judge, a Clinton appointee, decided that Sarah’s libel lawsuit against the New York Times can continue after all.
The Times has been trying to get it thrown out of court but now they will have to make their case in front of a jury.
Palin was accused by the Times of inciting political incitement that let to a mass shooting in Arizona.
“Taking the evidence in the light most favorable to plaintiff, she has sufficiently pointed to enough issues of triable fact that would enable a jury to find by clear and convincing evidence that Bennet knew, or was reckless not to know, that his words would convey the meaning in the minds of the readers that plaintiff asserts was libelous, to wit, that she bore a direct responsibility for inciting the Loughner shooting,” wrote the judge. more
Damn, I am getting mighty pissed at leftists tonight. I hope Palin cleans the NYT’s clock.
But CCN does not think that the Demos are inciting violence & thus responsible for the death & destruction from riots.

Listen, they have had it out for her since the election with Obama and McCain. Disgusting how they hate this beautiful woman and her family. And what they did to them all is horrendous. A jury trial in a defamation suit is the worst outcome for a defendant to have. Sarah Palin is a well respected public figure and I suspect most americans figure she’s been treated badly by the media and now this could be an “OJ” moment for them and she could cripple the NYT for decades.
I was always wondering how much Sandmann won from CNN. for their slander.
I finally read tonight that it was $275 million.
That’s a painful loss for AT&T/CNN.

BTW Just to show how the MSM lies. When she took the lib Bush to court it was all over the news. A conservative Rep is taking a leftist GOP President to court. And the when she won again A court has ruled against the progressive Rep President! Then in ’08 they all said “We never knew she existed”!
