In January the Satanic Temple announced plans to erect a monument glorifying the Dark Lord on the front lawn of the Oklahoma Statehouse. An Indiegogo campaign was launched with what seemed like a somewhat lofty goal of $20,000, but by the time donations ended almost $30,000 had been raised. Now an artist trained in classical sculpture is toiling away in New York, crafting a Baphomet figure sitting beneath a pentagram and flanked by two children gazing upward in loyalty. When it is finished, it will be cast in bronze and, the Satanists hope, eventually displayed in Oklahoma.
The statue is a direct response to the state’s installation of a Ten Commandments monument outside the Capitol in 2012. State Representative Mike Ritze paid for the controversial statue with his own money, and therefore it was considered a donation and OK to place on government property. Following that line of reasoning, the Satanic Temple submitted a formal application for their monument.

I was a former satanist. The concept of hell is not perceived the same way as Christians, they believe they will rule the universe and Christians will suffer torment. Basically it is the complete opposite ….which makes sense…..of Christianity.

Neither this crap nor Islam were or are influential in our nation’s founding. A Judeo-Christian worldview forms our very Ethos as a nation. The Ten Commandments are, therefore, not out of place being displayed at our courts and other government buildings. There’s no incongruence with the Ten Commandments; there is with Baphomet and Islam in this regard.
This nonsense takes place due to a warped and perverted idea of Tolerance and the 1st Amendment, along with Ignorance of history. No community needs to “equally support and promote” a foreign, antagonistic religious idea simply because a few people demand it.

Oklahoma is exactly the LAST place in the 50 states presently forced to affiliate with each other that such a statue would be installed in public view, exactly for the reasons they put up the Ten Commandments.

Christ means “Anointed” (Christos, Messiah) (Acts 4:26, Psa 2:2). Satan is anointed as a “Christ” (Ezek 28:14, Matt 24:5).
God desires worship (John 4:23-26). Satan desires worship (Matt 4:8-10).
