What a great era we lived in. 🤔 Other than being able to reap the rewards of over 40 years of work, there isn’t much good to say about THIS era. 🫤

My first album was CTA and that started it for me!

Chicago was a nice intro to something other than the 3 or 4 piece combo that many groups started. Along with the Moody Blues they had some great music and lyrics. I turned off my radio 20 years ago when music was no longer music so I don’t know if there is anything decent to listen to now.

At the time I sorta compared Chicago to Arbys.
Arbys was different – not a burger joint that cranked out the same stuff. Back then an Arbys roast beef and potato cakes was great and you couldn’t get it anywhere else. Kinda the same as Chicago.
Today Arbys is… well disappointing.

Chicago is timeless.

B S & T started same year.
Believe they somehow complemented each other…

They were the first concert I ever went to. 1972 Michigan State and I was hooked.
Loved the brass section!

“A man selling GELATO, singing Italian songs…”

Check out “Leonid and Friends” on YouTube. they’re the best Chicago cover band I’ve seen.

That was one of the songs to play back in the 70s when just living life free of worries and with your friends. Cruising or playing softball with a 1/2 barrel somewhere behind home plate.
Another favorite of mine was “Cruusin’… on a Sunday afternooon..” while sailing on a Sunday afternoon here in Dallas. I would crank that song when I was running the races on the committee boat. A pontoon walk-around thing with all the accoutrement for running a race. It really set the tone for the afternoon.
Never got a complaint. Good times.

Some comps graphics display chips have interesting display artifacts when adjusting the resolution, meaning zooming in and out or up and down. Remember this before and future use.
