Yikes! We used to say that prayer as kids.
My girlfriend in the 70s thought that was a cruel prayer to teach little kids. So I never taught that one to mine.
His “Things you don’t say to your wife” is pretty funny.
I’ve seen this guy’s videos before and they are hilarious. That was one of the first prayers my parents taught me. It’ probably was a prayer inspired by the high rate of child morality in Western societies during the 18th century. Yeah, it’s a little morbid but in a weird way the misguided prayer made you consider that God is the ultimate protector.
Back when I was a yoot, my Mom got me this on a plaque for my bedroom. Creeped me right the fuck out.
