Why is it not the Principle and Principle’s secretary who are ordered to pay up?

So. She was told to do it. It was wrong but she did it anyway. She didn’t refuse. She didn’t speak up. And she apparently was fine with it… until the issue exploded in the media and she was “scapegoated” by the school administration. So now she gets bucks.
The school shouldn’t have to pay. The school didn’t have a policy to do it. The people who ordered her to do it did that on their own. They should be sued as individuals and made to pay for the rest of their lives for their abuse of their positions.
It wasn’t an institutional decision. It was an abuse of personal position.
The only way to stop this crap is to go after the individuals themselves for abuse of power.
