I could listen to and watch Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent all day long. He’s brilliant with communications and easy on the eyes. (He sounds like he’s not feeling well in this video, though.)
He makes my heart flutter when he says things like, “What we need to do is examine the entire Federal Reserve institution and whether they have been successful.”

The FED is unconstitutional. Abolish it. Restore sound currency (as the Constitution defines) and allow the FREE MARKET to set the costs of borrowing money as it attempts to do with everything else. Take the politics out of our currency.
While I understand that the Federal Reserve is a quasi-governmental institution with both public and private aspects, why would the Federal Reserve be insulated from massive corruption any more than any other government agency that has infested with it? I don’t know if it needs to be eliminated, but I’m sure it needs a good douching!

Ron Paul, the champion of ending the Fed, had a great idea to minimize the pain. Simply abolish ALL legal tender laws, abolish ALL taxes on precious metals, and allow ALL currencies including precious metals to be freely used and circulate. In short order, the fiat currencies, including the Federal Reserve Note/dollar, will fall out of favor and become a relic. Less disruptive than simply shutting the doors. One way or the other, it has to go. He also called for a complete audit so everyone can see the details of their 112 year crime spree.

The answer is get us BACK on the Gold Standard and get rid of the Fed. I’ve actually heard Bessent address the Fed and from what I got out of the interview that’s where this admin is headed.
Every part of the government should have to be audited every year! Including congressional member accounts.
