12 Comments on Scott Walker Out in Front of GOP Pack in Iowa
“No, Jeb Bush is not a foregone conclusion.”
Well, that’s good news, but isn’t Walker soft on Common Core?
Jeb is with the money boys. It takes a lot of money. I don’t won’t Jeb. But I never get the candidate I want. Usually the libertarians fuck everything up.
Jeb will pick a conservative to be VP to throw us a bone.
@Boobie–Scott Walker is squishy on common core. He has called for it to be repealed and then at the very least to allow schools to opt out of it. So it isn’t FOR it like Jeb but he isn’t fully against it. So I guess I didn’t answer your question!
Since when did the Iowa poll ever really amount to anything?
@Bitterclinger
Since when did the opinions of Iowans really amount to anything? I mean outside discussions about corn, soybeans and pork?? Never politics. 🙂
I doubt that a “perfect” candidate exists; however, Scott Walker comes pretty darn close.
NO JEB.

PERIOD.
I say, too early to tell… Like his work in WI BUT look at the Gov. in IN, he turned to be a RINO in the end…Twice bitten, 2008 & 2012…Call me suspicious , hold my decision till Jan. 2016.!
Walker won’t get the nomination for one reason.
He is a liberals worst nightmare, and they will be out in droves voting in republican primaries all across the country for whoever the biggest RINO is; Bush, Christie, etc.
They do that EVERY FOUR YEARS….Romney, McCain, Dole ring a bell??
If Walker DOES manage to get the nod, he can secure a landslide election if he picks the one man for VP who can seal the deal.
ALAN WEST….Guaranteed electoral victories in two crucial battlegrounds states; Wisconsin and Florida.
Walker/West2016
As someone who has hung out of late with rich white guy republicans (it’s a long story) I am glad to report that while they are certainly unimaginative in their interest in Bush, I find they are uniformly open to Walker. He’s not their first choice but I do believe they will enthusiastically support him if he can get some traction. I think that’s a pretty sensible calculation on their part since after all, if you can’t get traction with Republicans how do you plan to win an election?

Good way to start the morning.
Also, tying Jeb to Obama:
