Scottie Scheffler won the 2022 Masters golf tournament in Augusta, Ga., on Sunday, just two weeks after he became the No. 1 golfer in the world.
His quick rise to the top is highlighted by the fact that he won his first-ever PGA Tour event less than 60 days ago, Yahoo Sports reported.
Scheffler, 25, finished his final round on Sunday at 71, which is 10-under and three strokes better than second-place Rory McIlroy. more

Even though Tiger finished 23 strokes behind, fucking CBS was ALL Tiger ALL the fucking time.
In fact, when Tiger finished today at +13, CBS didn’t show his final score like they do ALL golfers as they come off of 18…
Didn’t fit their narrative.
BTW, they did the same thing Saturday when he finished at +7.
Not to take anything away from Scottie Scheffler, but the way Rory McElroy and Colin Morikawa finished up on 18, each of them holing out for birdies from the same trap was awesome. Rory McElroy’s shot in particular could be as good a sand shot as anyone could make.
Scottie is a class act. He is all about his family. Great interviews and an incredible short game.
I had picked Cameron Smith & Will Zalatoris as my favorites to win before it started.
I didn’t bet any money so I was somewhat glad Cameron didn’t win.
I did feel sorry for the Aussie when he rinsed his ball on 12 though…
Congrats to Scheffler for his Masters win despite the leftist media trying to make it about Tiger the narcissist. Kudos to Scheffler who stayed focused.
Well, I’ve never been a big Tiger fan. And I wasn’t able to watch any live coverage with the exception of a couple hours at the gym. And then the sports news in the evening. I never heard his name mentioned. Considering they were thinking about whacking off a leg about 12 months ago, and to see him make the cut was phenomenal. Like I say, I didn’t see much live coverage, but I was left feeling like the media didn’t give him enough recognition for a phenomenal come back.

Hell, here you have Scottie & Cameron, the two contenders on the second hole and they showed Tiger’s finish AND a fucking interview.

I get his popularity but DAMN, he finished at plus 13 and the likely winner was in the middle of competing!

What confused me was that there was an outdoor and and an indoor ceremony with the same Green Jacket . Had to leave the room a few times and missed a few things.
