A search is underway after a U.S. military helicopter with five U.S. Marines onboard went missing during a flight from Nevada to California on Tuesday.
The CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter departed Creech Air Force Base in Nevada en route to Marine Corps Air Station Miramar near San Diego Tuesday evening but failed to arrive. more
Dropped it off at the jihadists camp, because it cost less than bringing one back from Afghanistan.
Try looking in Ukraine.
The Defense Logistics Agency is barely ordering any replacement parts. I’d estimate order placement is down my 85%. And when the do place an order it’s immediately expedited. Personally I think what ever is left of our defense budget has found it’s way to Ukraine. But unfortunately more of these crashes will probably happen. Feels like Carter 2.0
The Carter days were horrible. We had the same responsibilities on a fraction of the budget. In those days it was SOP to salvage all parts we could from crashed/damaged jets. When logistics said a part was a week out but the jet was scheduled to fly the next day it was no big deal because of our off-the-books stash. The only good thing about the bad old days was that we had a blast ridiculing the brainless democrats. Carter was such a horrible president it got to the point where the dwindling democrats could no longer defend him. It’s hard to believe someone worse than Carter became president.
” Itโs hard to believe someone worse than Carter became president.”
No shit huh. I think the difference is though Carter had no ill intentions. This guys got them up the ass.

Has the maintenance team won awards for diversity?
I wish the Marines well from that missing helicopter returning to MCAS Miramar North of San Diego from Nevada. I was stationed at NAS Miramar when the Navy fighter squadrons were there in the early to mid 70’s before all the Navy fighter squadrons were moved to NAS Fallon in the Nevada desert to have more room to fly in.
