Seattle Times: At a crucial moment during 2020’s racial justice protests, Seattle police exchanged a detailed series of fake radio transmissions about a nonexistent group of menacing right-wing extremists.
The radio chatter about members of the Proud Boys marching around downtown Seattle, some possibly carrying guns, and then heading to confront protesters on Capitol Hill was an improper “ruse,” or dishonest ploy, that exacerbated a volatile situation, according to findings released Wednesday by the city’s Office of Police Accountability.
The Proud Boys is a far-right group with a reputation for street violence and with several members — including one from South King County — who have been charged with terrorism for alleged actions related to the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.
The ruse happened on the night of June 8, 2020, hours after the Police Department had abandoned its East Precinct on Capitol Hill and just as protesters were starting to set up the zone that was later called the Capitol Hill Organized Protest, or CHOP. more
Are the Proud Boys really a violent organization? I think the following to scenarios are more likely, either separately or together:
1. Actions such as this are done to portray them as violent
And/or
2. If you bring violence to them, they don’t back down. Just like in schools today when a victim finally stands up to a bully, the victim is in as much trouble as the bully. You know we can’t allow conservatives to stand up for themselves.

Think about it, they passed that law to control how we would drive and NO ONE put up a fight about it. That’s when they knew they had us and could do anything to us without us putting up a fight until it was too late. SMH

That act could/may have lead to the injury or death of people (either side – doesn’t matter). Those officers MUST be held accountable for their actions.

The meeting was called after mayors criticized the prosecutor’s office for going too easy on criminals, demanding answers. It did not go well.”

40 years ago most PDs were America First departments. The last 22 years many have become Americans last NWO departments. Seattle is just 1 example Some others : DC, Portland, Frisco, San Jose, Waukesha and Kenosha to name a few of very many!
I have not “run the #s” but it seems that in the last 22 years most PDs have gone WOKE; admitting that sometimes perception is not reality.
So what is the Seattle Office of Police Accountability going to do about this “ruse”? Absolutely nothing.

I got two more you ya; Proud boys are an entirely fictitious phantom, a nonentity that was either 1) made up by a clever group of trollers (like the OK sign meaning white supremacy) to punk the hysterical over-reactionary leftists, or 2)It was made up by the leftists (like the khaki panted Patriot Front) to “boogey man” anybody that thinks for themselves and does not buy in to their racist notions about the white race.
Getting a rise out of the perpetually aggrieved has become too easy and less satisfying.

An important question, for now and maybe more so in the future: can any individual policeman or any single police department be trusted? Which side will they protect and fight for if there is a civil war?
