Trending Politics: On Monday, Seattle police stood up to the violent Antifa extremists and plowed through their barricade as the radical-leftists threw projectiles at the officers.

The event unfolded outside of the Seattle Police Officers Guild.

“Large crowd outside SPOG building on 4th Avenue South. As officers attempted to make arrests, protesters began throwing explosives, rocks and bear spray at officers,” the Seattle Police Department tweeted.

  1. They are arrested and immediately released, typically. They come back the next night with renewed boldness knowing they have, and will, get away with it. There’s millions of dollars provided to a fund and they all know the phone number to call if they need bail money.

  2. Just recently watched a Dateline show about the Charles Manson Murders. It struck me what a complete metaphor that was for what the Democraps and antifa are doing now. And CM was trying to ignite a race war during the “summer of love”, same as the dems are now.

  3. If I were personally damaged by the current LAWLESSNESS, my response has be ‘pre-justified’. (as in, the legal definition of ‘justification’)
And in my Penal Code, they’d never post bail.

Let us pray we reach Election Day, and that it doesn’t get derailed.

  4. Dang, this is a tough crowd to please! If the police do nothing, you’re angry. If the police do something, you’re disappointed.

The police are the police. The DAs are the DAs — and what would you expect in a communist-run city?

And just let me tell ya, if antifa or BLM got a fire burning in this industrial area of Seattle — full of very old, wooden warehouse structures — it would have looked like the first big, Seattle fire! Think oily, creosote-soaked, 100+ year-old, wood-timbered warehouses filled with who-knows-what-all flammables.

I thought the country/western music blasting from SPOG was a thoughtful touch. But Ride of the Valkeries would have been my choice. But, yeah, it’s hard to take cops on bicycles, wearing spandex, seriously.

  5. The right to peaceable assemble is guaranteed under the Constitution, but other rights can be lost by abusing those rights. Perhaps losing the right to peaceable assemble for those who have been convicted of abusing that right by being involved in riotous behavior during peaceably assembly’s is in order.

Charge and try them for federal violations and then if convicted they cannot even legally be present at any mostly peaceful protest in the future.

  6. I was expecting (hoping) to see something close to Chris Elliot driving the snowplow in the movie, Snow Day.

An SPD Thumbs Brigade might work. Outfitted with a block of wood and a hatchet. Anyone filmed throwing something heavier or more dangerous than an air-filled balloon. Has their thumbs removed, immediately. On the spot where they stood and threw their aerial weapon. Yeah, too old old school, and not the thoughts one ought to have. But these anarchists are long past tiresome.
