Sen. Murphy (D) is freaking out about possibly losing his 0bamaCare subsidy

WND: Democrats in Congress have been in lockstep on almost every subject lately, adopting a party-line position and never relinquishing one inch of its ground. But none so definitively as on Obamacare, where they have, as a bloc, refused every effort made by President Trump and the GOP majority to take the failing health-care mandates’ worst problems and fix them.

Maybe it’s because those problems are really a worry for their constituents, not them.

At least, that’s the suggestion from a series of social media postings by Sen. Chris Murphy, a Democrat from Connecticut.

He responded to the president’s tweet over the weekend that perhaps government exemptions for Congress and subsidies for their staff members, under the Obamacare mandates, might go away.

Murphy called it a personal threat.  more here

  1. Well, of course it’s a personal threat, Murph. Aren’t you personally one of only a few dozen persons obstinately rejecting efforts to change the awful system you personally don’t want your own person and your staff to be part of?

  2. I feel that each representative and senator, sent to congress based on LIES, is a personal threat to their constituents, PARTICULARLY, the voters of America, who put them in their Robber Barron positions.

  3. Last I heard there were over 1300 “exemptions” and/or subsidies from the ObolaCare abomination.

Pres. Trump should get rid of ALL of them, at a stroke.

Then let the caterwauling and gnashing of teeth begin.

But isn’t it kind of curious that the intimation of being denied the labor (income, money) of others is somehow a “personal threat,” but the expropriation of the same, by implied force (taxation), has no weight whatsoever?
Quite a lucid peek into the mind of a greedy amoral maggot.

    izlamo delenda est …

  4. Trump should have ended their subsidies his first week in office. Why shouldn’t they be first to live under what they want the rest of us to be beholden to? I wish he’d just do it instead of threaten it.

  5. They don’t feel our pain. These clowns make more salary than the average citizen. They all retire as millionaires and they BELIEVE they need subsidized 0bamacare insurance!
BS BS BS BS BS BS BS BS BS BS BS BS BS BS BS BS BS BS BS BS BS !!!
THIS IS YOUR MESS DEMOCRATS. YOU FIX IT.

  6. The parasite is sucking the lifeblood from tax payers. He and the rest of congress and staff members act like they are royalty and treat citizens like subjects. Trump should eliminate every perk they have if he can legally do so.

  7. How would making members of Congress have the same type of medical coverage they forced on the American people make members of Congress lose their insurance coverage?

He wouldn’t be saying what (true) conservatives have been saying all along, would it?

  8. If he did it immediately now or on his first day in office, he couldn’t hold the threat over their heads the way he is.
I agree that non of these people should have a subsidy, but it is useful to use as a threat before abolishing it.

  9. Effe everyone of them . Mandate that they get the copper plan ! $6000.00 deductible for each family member that starts over every January. Make sure that they have to deal with the dumbass Obama employees that tell you you have to cancel your policy every December for the rest of your life. Make sure that they deduct the Obama care fee out of their checking account. Have the insurance company deny any claim. Then they will have to gothru the claim appeal process and wait 3 months for a decision . Mak sure th hospitals call / harass them for payment and ruin their credit rating. Maybe then this wealth transfer
    Program will be killed.
