Update: Senate Rejects.– Daily Caller, and at Daily Wire. [h/t Uncle Al]
Senator Paul let’s em have it.
Breitbart: Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky has filed an amendment to a Senate appropriations package that would defund Planned Parenthood.
The senator introduced the amendment to H.R. 6157, the Defense, Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education for Defense, Labor, Health and Human Services package, that would strip taxpayer funds from Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers.
“One of the top priorities for a Republican Congress that professes pro-life values on the campaign trail should be to stop taxpayer funding for abortion providers,” said Paul in a statement. “This is our chance to turn our words into action, stand up for the sanctity of life, and speak out for the most innocent among us that have no voice.” more here
SNIP: The libs are already saying that Rand Paul is trying to overturn Roe v. Wade. But they’re pretty stupid and easily agitated. This is about ending TAX PAYER funding for abortions.
EXCELLENT!
This guy was raised right. Thanks Ron.
I need to see Rand circling the wagons helping DJT through this Muller shit storm right now.
@ Brad, yup, time to throw out the distractions like the libs do. Bills like Pauls will pass when theres no attention on them
From the Daily Wire:
He can be so annoying at times, but he seems like on of the only members of the GOP that stand in the Gap at clutch moments, not wavering because of public opinions.
Thanks, Uncle Al.
I figured this wouldn’t get too far, but hey- it scared the Libs and the GOPe. Maybe after mid terms.

Half the time I hate him, the other half I love him. But bottom line he’s the strongest constitutionalist serving. And I think Trump actually likes him. He’s a valuable ally.
I see him running for President again one day. These moves are all good ground work……not saying he is insincere but it calls out the RINO’s for what they are.
Tom
Mean while, he should get behind the best President we’ve ever had.
If you don’t think we have a problem, think again.

This will convince all doubters that I might be nuts. It’s a bit off topic, but in line with illuminating (you will get the pun if you read this) just what Trump is up against in taking on the Cabal. You might want to get a beverage before you start this.

@Bad_Brad – Yessir, that’s a problem. Bogus, but a problem nevertheless.
BTW, here‘s the NYT article referred to in the gateway piece. The short version is that DJT’s reimbursement for Cohen’s paying the hush money went on the books as a legal expense, and the NY state govt thugs claim it was a campaign expense and so the bookkeeping was a felony. GMAFB.
I’ve written the President a few times on this asking him to defund PP (it’s like 500 mil) and allocate that money to security of schools around the nation. I want to see the Democrats choke on this as Trump shoves the issue down their throats by stating “imagine all the children we can protect.”
Let’s see if they invoke the words of Jesus Christ on this issue as they do immigration and raising taxes on “the rich,” as 0bama did.

“that’s a problem. Bogus, but a problem nevertheless.”
Not bogus once you realize what court they are holding this trial in. The court of public opinion. This is all about the mid terms. What Trumps approval ratings.
@ Joe 6 Pak,
Not nuts. Gonna have to take some time to read it though. TY for the link.
Brad – Completely agree. The charges are bogus but the problem is very real.
@Ted: “imagine all the children we can protect.” The Dems don’t want to protect children (that’s what they are so pro-abort), they just wanna use school protection as a hammer to enact gun control so I don’t think that will have much effect on them, unfortunately.
Got a lot of coat hangers to donate, might ease the costs. When it comes to late term abortions, may I suggest starting with David Hogg,,,
