Just The News: Republican Sen. Rand Paul says people who have recovered from the coronavirus should “throw away their masks, go to restaurants,” and “live again.”
The libertarian-minded senator, who months ago contracted the virus, made the proclamation Thursday, based on the assumption that those who have recovered from the illness are “now immune.”
The Kentucky lawmaker also took aim at Dr. Anthony Fauci saying that the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, “doesn’t want to admit to any of that.”
“Dr. Fauci is like ‘Oh, woe is me’ until the election occurs, but now maybe he’ll be changing his attitude,” Paul said on Fox News.
According to guidelines released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, experts are still learning about the novel coronavirus, and it remains unclear whether an individual who has been infected can be re-infected or act as a carrier of the illness. read more
Hey now! Can’t have a good crisis to take advantage of if we develop herd immunity!

Stupid suggestion. Hardly “libertarian”. Masks are useless. Should we all carry social credit health papers to demonstrate who does and who does not have the privilege of going maskless?
So – will the vaccine ensure that a person can’t get infected with covid 19 later? The virus and the vaccine should both provide protection aka immunity.
I’d like to throw away my governor too because I’m feed up with his covid-19 policies and face mask mandates, which he just increased starting at 12:00 a.m. today
I would have done my part to throw him away election day, but did not. Why?
Because he is an R governor, and I reluctantly took the view that it was better to sacrifice and lose a battle in my home state to assist winning the war nationwide – by contributing to a Red Wave tsunami election from coast to coast.
Still hoping Trump will prevail and serve his second consecutive term to complete the Red Wave win.
