Axios: The extra food assistance benefits put into place during the COVID-19 pandemic will end nationwide in February, per the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Service.
The big picture: After almost three years, the amount of aid provided to low-income families to combat food insecurity through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will return to pre-pandemic levels.
- The emergency allotments allowed SNAP households to receive an additional $95 or more in monthly benefits.
Details: The emergency allotments have already ended in 17 states, including Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Tennessee and Wyoming. more
Just in time to kick off riot season! During Black History Month!
YAY AMERICANS KILLING AMERICANS WHILE FIGHTING OVER FOOD!
Get used to it, we have LOTS more to come!
Maybe there will be less of a shortage of employees.
Hunger is a great motivator.
This year’s theme for Black history month is Black resistance with the mugs of Angela Davis and Malcom X featured prominently on their poster. Unlucky us. Aren’t we all Americans who take pride in our wonderful country? Or does it just apply only to govt. approved politically correct victim groups? The real racists are the democraps and the ones who promote racial divisiveness in this country.

“Now they can tell the sheep that eating food causes blood clots.”
…it kinda does.
Eventually.
4, 5, 10 decades or so, maybe shorter if you’re extremely intemperate with a fork, but sooner or later, probably…
…N.B. we have the fattest poor people in the world.
That will serve their narrative well…
Black people are extra easy to radicalize during Black History Month.
Aaaaaaannnnnd that’s why they chose the shortest month of the year Black History Month!
And no one ever talks about how inflation is created – by printing money and injecting it into the economy. And perfectly demonstrating any benefit is impossible to repeal once instituted. This was never going to end well.
The theme will be “Republicans starving poor people”. Then, Republicans will cave and make the benefits permanent.
