No doubt going out to illegal aliens using the Vet’s social security numbers, or being funneled to Democrat super PACS.
Seems like it would be fairly easy to find the money. Social Security checks are direct deposited into bank accounts. Ask the banks is the money still in the account and if not who withdrew it.
I’m sorry to read of this, and hope it gets sorted out.
On a similar note- the Palestinian Authority pays the families of killed terrorists, or those in Israeli jails. And our government, ala hussein obama, provided them the money to do that with. Wait until the fascist-antis antifa start to get benefits. After they have worked enough hours for soros, they might qualify for them.
But back to the SS payments thing- if it is defrauding the government, nail their asses. There are too many elderly and infirmed that depend on their insufficient benefits, without this drawing down the system.

Good grief, it’s the 21st century! Compare the two databases, find the addresses send them to collection agencies and get the friggin money back! Government is always willing to just write it off as a loss and move on, cuz it isn’t their money.
Maybe it’s a consolation prize for the VA killing them….
