Bernstein is among the minority of Jewish voters supporting Trump, the iconoclastic real-estate mogul and part-time Floridian who has deepened the partisan divide at the mahjong table at other clubs throughout South Florida.

It has always been a source of constant amazement to me that most Jews vote for the Party who consistently works against them and the State of Israel, even to the point of supporting those who would cheerfully wipe out the entire Jewish race from the face of the planet if it were in their power to do so.
To me, its one of the great mysteries of life.
Oy vay! The historical problem of Judaism is that the religion ostensibly shares many of lefts views. Shared struggle,a desire to help the minority and a strong respect for law. But,where in the Jews these and other beliefs are Moral Values,in the left they are just a means to an end. Specifically a means to impose a G-D less spiritually empty material worldview where people are reduced to sentient matter not deserving of love or respect. A place where only the State matters. The State is only as great as the sum of its parts,a person is greater then the sum of theirs.

Yeah, I too am surprised at any Jew that can vote for disarming themselves. Like they have a death wish.
I was assured by the orthodox Jews I have as customers that they are 100% conservative and said anything else was nonsense. These guys are the backbones of the local Jewish communities I serve.
Many levels of “Jewishness” in my customer base. Some don’t even give a flip about their religion. Those were “just born into it”. Several have said so explicitly.
Never make a general assumption in this area.
American Jews predominately are democrats first. My family was an exception but I grew up around a lot of liberal Jews and nothing you could say would sway them. I would be shocked if many Jews broke rank. Even Reagan failed to break 40%.

However, the Jews have shied away from American Conservative movements IMHO from a natural reticence from perceived authoritarianism. The liberal worldview is more ‘in line’ with the Jewish heart.
But they need to get back in touch with their inner David, because those Muslim Bastards will trod right over a NAZI in his haste to kill a Jew.

@vietvet, yes its a great mystery. I personally have come to the conclusion that most Jews in America are simply cowards. They are despicable, selfish, cowards. By no means am I stating all, but most. They have an inbred mental illness that leads them to believe that if you just be nice to the bully they will leave them alone.
The real Israeli Jews are some of the most patriotic and beautiful, tough, selfless, smart people you will ever meet. The dregs of the Jewish people are mainly what we have here in the USA. Sorry to say it but its true. American Christians and Catholics are better friends to Israel than the American Jew.
The prog wing of the Jewish race may be with us a bit now, but they have proven unreliable allies. They do not love liberty.
