As the Supreme Court gathers arguments against President Donald Trump’s executive order ending birthright citizenship, South Carolina has picked a side.
Attorney General Alan Wilson of South Carolina believes that the 14th Amendment, which establishes that anyone born in the United States is automatically considered a citizen, has been “misinterpreted over the last 160 years.” He states that this misinterpretation has resulted in people from around the world being able to take advantage of our country.
“That amendment was rightfully designed to bestow citizenship on emancipated slaves, which needed to happen, but it has been misinterpreted over the last 160 years to incentivize the ridiculous notion that somebody can come to the United States in the dead of night, drop a child like an anchor, like a boat drops an anchor, and all of a sudden, they have been bestowed citizenship for henceforth evermore,” he argued. And , further, any product of a crime cannot be realized by the criminals.
That is, the mother was in the country illegally, so the child is here illegally. and cannot aquire citizenship status by virtue of place of birrh.
One more example of the massive cavernous divide between our sides;
We want it ended because it is NOT what the founders intended, it is unfair, arbitrary, and antithetical to the health/well-being of the nation and its culture.
The left wants to keep it because it secures votes for their nation-crushing policies…..and, it changes the demographic away from “white”.
A separation is coming, one way or another.
