Breitbart:
Wednesday night’s episode of South Park took Hollywood to task for meekly allowing China to censor its movies and TV shows in exchange for reaching that huge Asian audience and their money.
In the episode, Stan Marsh is approached by a Chinese film company when his heavy metal rock band begins turning heads. The Chinese filmmakers say that they think his group is the next big thing in music, and they want to make a biopic about the band’s beginning.
Stan agrees and soon the band is filming its story with the help of a Chinese film company. But at nearly every turn, Stan and his band find the Chinese censors telling them what they can and can’t say, especially when it comes to describing the United States as a land of freedom. READ MORE
Chinese bastards! They killed Kenny.
It gets worse. Stan’s dad murders Winnie the Pooh.
A recent Chinese meme is to compare Pooh to the dictator, I mean supreme leader, I mean president Xi Jinping.
Meh, I blame Canada.
I watched this episode. SP is about the only show in the news/entertainment media that has the balls to tell the truth.
not surprising that HoWood bows to the Chi-Coms … they’d take it up the ass from a hepatitis infested leper for a million bucks
“… yeah, my ass hurts, but I took a Lysol enema. so it’s cool. at least I don’t have to wait tables tonight!”
SP is seen by millions. Hopefully some more lights were switched on
I believe that whilst SP is bold enough to take on “crashing pans” and the chicoms, that they bowed out on the mohammedans…….. or was that the network?

@Crackerbaby – that was 100% the network. If you watch the double episode Cartoon Wars, their most important episode, they literally plea with Viacom to include a simple shot of Muhammed. The follow-up episodes 200/201 revisit the topic – and are not available on any channel, although they are on the season dvd. In fact much of South Park’s work has been focused on freedom of speech since the beginning.
