  4. Thank you, I needed that. May the Holy Spirit lead me in all of your ways. You’re the only only one who keeps me sane in an increasingly insane world where nothing makes sense anymore. Thank you, for allowing me to trust and believe in you. We can’t do this on our own, we need your help daily in order to get thru all we’re going thru individually and as a nation right now. Forgive me and forgive us and make us once again one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all. Amen!

  9. My husband died a few weeks ago, it was awful but he did at least die at home and with family. I have been going on pure willpower and paperwork that would sink any large ship. I haven’t been able to mourn because I am exhausted and scared. Today was particularly hard since we were both veterans and it all made me so angry. I needed this song and I needed to remember who is in charge and yes, Spirit Lead Me and this country,

  16. Corky, so sad for you! These are hard times, friends can make a big difference. This has been an especially hard year, 2020 was a piece of cake compared to 2021 for me. I don’t know where you are at but if you’re in the PNW area and I can help in any way I can do it. In fact, be proud to do so.

  23. Corky. My condolences. So sorry to hear of your loss. You may be overwhelmed right now, but that is to be expected. When you’re able to mourn, allow it to happen. Mourning is part of healing. Know that God is with you and rely on His strength and Love. He is our hope, comfort and answer for ALL things.

  25. To all of you who post here… that song was a blessing and so were your responses to the song and to each other. I am proud to be among you. And to the ladies with pain in the heart and mind – as a widow (for 11 years and 71 y.o.a. now) and exceedingly politucal all my life, I can say the Lord is definitely with us in the Valley of the Shadow of Death. His power, love and mercy are never more evident than when we need Him most. May He bless and keep you safe. All of you. In Jesus’s mighty name. And thank you for making my morning. It is well with my soul.

  26. Oh and my grandson, who left Iraq weeks ago and then back to Fort Bliss where they’re sending Afghans by the thousands, just arrived for a 4 week rest. His step brother left Afghanistan last month for safety and his wife and baby girl. Thank you Lord that they are both out of there. And please bless my soldier who must return to Texas and the insanity there. Mighty Creator I pray in Christ Jesus and your Holy Spirit for him and all here at IOTW. Amen.
