  1. I think he was or was gonna be an oceanographer or something. Can’t remember, but I do know he drew knots the right way.

Seems silly but all the guys on the fishing boat I worked on watched that show on the way back to port….and yes…. part of the drinking game was to tie the knots spongebob could.

  2. Rest in peace in a pineapple under the sea. I love Spongebob cartoons and first started watching them recovering from cancer surgery and treatment 14 years ago. I am convinced these are really for adults like Moose and Squirrel.

  3. The best episode for me will always be the one where Mr Krabs and Spongebob kill the health inspector and struggle to hide the body. Such clever writing.

It went downhill and got stale after Hillenburg left in 04, but it had improved during the last few recent seasons due to his return.

Looks like it was too good to last.

  4. I used to watch SpongeBob all the time with my son, and then one day – no there was no gradual anything – one day I just turned off my internal switch because I couldn’t handle that show anymore and I stopped cold turkey. But it still has some sort of hold because to this day when I’m cranky he says, “Patrick’s holding you” (I’m a crabby patty) or I might say, “Stop naming moves after me!” (Squidward said it, he was my favorite).

  5. Ooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

The beginning is the best, it was like a dinner bell, the kids would run to the family room. They’d watch Spongebob and do the potty dance while waiting for a commercial.
