Speaking of Kyle, I just watched a clip of McGinnis on Tucker describing what he witnessed, something off about this guy. He said on Tucker that Kyle fired 4 rounds, in the police report he told them 3 rounds. Plus I’m still trying to figure out why he said he told Kyle he had handled many ARs and he was not handling the weapon well.
He told the police he was behind and slightly to the right of Rosenbaum in the line of fire when Kyle shot. He also said the first round went into the ground and he thought he had been shot. (They charged Kyle with endangering McGinnis life as well)
Now according to the medical examiner he had five gunshot wounds. I’m not a forensic person, but from what I know about 5.56 they fragment at close range, look at one arm guy for evidence of that. Yet the medical examiner says he had a (1)gunshot wound to the right groin fracturing his pelvis, (2)a gunshot wound to his left hand, (3) a superficial gunshot wound to his lateral left thigh, (4) a graze gunshot wound to the right side of his forehead, (5) a gunshot wound to his back that perforated his right lung and liver.
McGinnis repeated to Tucker that he was behind Rosenbaum and moved to the right.
Who shot him in the back? How are there 5 gunshot wounds if he fired 3 or 4 times? The most confusing though is the shot to the back. Sure will be interesting to see the ballistic reports.
