  1. …I had a cop draw on me once for carrying a screwdriver while looking like a jewelry store robber from a few blocks over.

    It happens.

…the cops were just trying to not be the next Uvalde, where they were paralyzed into inaction as the slaughter continued. They were acting on information and probably, like most people, have a technology bias and trust the machines too much. Given what they were told and the world as it is, I dont think they were entirely unreasonable.

No, you should roast the AI company and its school enablers instead. That shit is not ready for prime time, and too many false alarms will cause complacency when a REAL one occurs…

  3. The AI must’ve thought that the kid was a stoner with a bag of Doritos in his hands. These are the same idiots who seem to think that a Pop tart can be made to look like a gun. Hey ho, AI has got to go! We will all become Dave’s if this keeps up and HAL 9000 will become the perpetual nanny, fink and enforcer of AI law. “FREEDOM” like William Wallace would shout, we don’t want no stinking AI.

Great. The AI boondoggle brings in the counselor racket. Just tell the traumatized teens to ask Chat GPT for consolation. My 91 year-old say is always saying, “ I am not part of this world anymore”, and every passing day makes me understand a little better what he means by that.
