‘Lesson made it seem like masculinity was an unacceptable human trait’

CollegeFix: Gettysburg College freshman James Goodman began his first moments of higher education by being lectured by campus leaders about “toxic masculinity,” he tellsThe College Fix in an interview.

Students who “identify as male” were shown a docudrama film about masculinity. The film, titled “The Mask You Live In,” was part of the lessons warning students that the notion of masculinity comes with harmful side effects, he said.

According to the trailer of the film, it teaches that the “three most destructive words” a boy can hear growing up is “be a man.” Experts quoted therein also suggest that violent outbursts are prompted by masculinity pressures because “respect is linked to violence.”  MORE

  1. He who controls language, controls the debate!-M.D.G.(1974). I remember back in the eighties when the controversy on campus was how male oriented was. I mean just look at how it is spelled,His-story! Being fortunate enough to speak four Latin based languages,I attempted to point out that the word had both to do with the male gender, indeed the root, historia, is FEMININE! Having to do with the Goddess of history. But,facts, logic and truth will never get in the way of a liberals rant.

  2. It’s time for all of us to bow our heads and recite The Red Greenes’s Mans Prayer, “I’m a man and I can change if I have to, I guess.” Sheesh, what a bunch or morons, the left is not happy about anything. As well as a good rousing chorus of I’m a lumberjack and I’m OK. I am not amused by these killjoys. So if God created me to be a man am I supposed to deny that now 63 years later just because these idiots are offended about being created a man. Once again, I hate the left!

  3. There you go.
You go be safe, little snowflakes.
But when you need some maintenance, a tire changed, a scary noise investigated, some asshole driven off, spiders killed (or transported outside), something fixed, something removed from the toilet, something heavy moved, something nasty and disgusting dealt with, a building built, a fire started, a heavy door held open, a dead battery car started, a non-working piece of technology, Concrete either removed or put in place, holes dug, trees trimmed, any non sport function that involves being outside in inclement weather, any type of animal feces removed and or dealt with….
or basically any task on the face of the Earth that is not pleasant, fun, or worthy of posting on the Internet:
    There will be a charge.
    It will be expensive.
And no, we do not take credit cards.
