Supreme Court buys time, extends freeze on Texas Immigration law through Monday

Sara Carter:
Justice Samuel Alito issued the latest administrative orders on a Texas law that would have gone into effect Wednesday. Alito and the Supreme Court on Tuesday extended a temporary freeze on the enforcement of Texas’ controversial immigration law, Senate Bill 4, that allows state law enforcement to arrest and detain people they suspect of entering the country illegally.

The Supreme Court’s administrative holds, which will remain paused through Monday, will give the court additional time to “review briefing in the case and do not necessarily signal which way the justices are leaning on the underlying request” reports CNN.

Senate Bill 4 was signed into law by Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott in December. The Justice Department argued that the law would “profoundly” alter the status quo “that has existed between the United States and the States in the context of immigration for almost 150 years.” more

  1. The Constitution is clear. The federal government SHALL defend the states from invasion. So clowns in gowns…what is the appropriate recourse, or is it time to simply dissolve the federal government as they no longer do what they are supposed to?

So, Justice RINO Samuel Alito has ruled that it is illegal to enforce the laws.

Do you think the Justices draw straws or play rock/paper/scissors, to decide who will stab us in the back?

The status quo was already altered by the Feds decision to ignore existing laws while simultaneously working to encourage a stampede of criminal, disease-infested undesirables.

  4. SCOTUS rules that Texas shall not enforce Federal immigration law. SCOTUS also ruled invalidating a Kansas law that prohibited local and state police from enforcing Federal anti-second amendment law.
Does anyone else see a conflict here?

  5. This is a sovereign states matter regarding arresting criminals which every single illegal alien is by breaking the law and entering into Texas. Enough of these commie shit bird lawyers in long black gowns (can the dudes on the Supreme Court be correctly labeled as transvestites since they wear long black dresses daily?) who continuously take away our liberties and while using the Constitution to wipe their fat, corrupt commie wrinkled asses.

Texas and the rest of the Conservative States need to tell the Supreme Court and the rest of the Federal Courts to stick it up their butts. Live Free or Die!
