FARGO, N.D. (KVLY/Gray News) – Target is apologizing after they said an employee was wrongfully terminated over a dress code issue.
Denise Kendrick, an employee of a Target store in Fargo, North Dakota, said she was fired over the weekend after she wrote “trust in Jesus” on her nametag at work.
Kendrick said she was approached by a manager who told her she “can’t wear that nametag.”
“I replied, ‘Well, I’ve seen people with rainbows on theirs. I’m going to continue to wear this nametag,’ and then they said, ‘Well, you can’t work here anymore,’” Kendrick said. more here
Their sales aren’t tanking because they are embracing NORMALITY…that’s for sure.
IMHO Target’s reputation went into the shutter when they tossed the Salvation Army bell ringers off their property! Haven’t set foot in the joint since… and they’ve only gotten worse!

When you shit the bed, much like Brendan Whitworth (CEO of Bud Light) pulling back is not enough. You must make a public statement repudiating your ill-advised turn to woke and dedicate a real effort to listening to your customers. As far as I know, Salvation Army has never done this.
Target became persona non grata with me years ago when they bowed at the altar of transgenderism with their bathroom and change room policies.
Don’t forget they kicked out the Boy Scouts also, they force you to provide your drivers license to return anything. And at every store I had been at, the shoes were jumbled so you couldn’t find the mate and most of the clothes are haphazardly piled on table or are laying on the floor. Haven’t been in a Target since the 80’s

I stopped shopping at Target before they kicked out Salvation Army (and yes, Salvation Army will never get anything from me again for telling me I have to apologize for being white).
I stopped going for 2 reasons:
1) Their merchandise sucks. Whoever does their buying became a brain-dead liberal who chose crap instead of fun stuff.
I still went, but less often, until:
2) They banned CPL people carrying guns in their store.
