Teacher Who Said She’d Bribe Infected People to Cough on Trump Has Resigned

A Woonsocket, Rhode Island public school teacher who tweeted an offer to pay anyone infected with the coronavirus to cough on President Trump has resigned, as reported by a local news affiliate, WJAR-TV.

After allegedly tweeting the offer in March (the account has since been deleted), the teacher sent a second tweet identifying herself as Amy Bednarz, a sixth-grade teacher at Villanova Middle School in Woonsocket. A district investigation into the tweet was launched soon after. more

  1. Certainly not representative of RI teachers spokeswoman said–that’s hard to believe as school employees are overwhelmingly hard core libtards except in agricultural areas IMO

    She will have to disclose on an application, “Have you ever resigned or made to resign from any teaching contract? Explain.”

    That’s it, she’s done. No one will likely hire her again, as the school board will have to approve of all new hires, and that will be difficult to get through after she explains what a psychopath she is and the parents will scream if she is hired.

    It’s not like the police department. If you beat the snot out of someone and either resign or get fired, the next town over will hire that cop no problem. So whenever a police chief proudly says, “We have terminated his employment” that just means he’ll be working as a deputy sheriff in the adjacent county by next Tuesday.
