Good for this kid. And good for the parents who are raising this young man to live in a civilized, and armed, society.
I personally see nothing wrong with shooting someone in the back if they’re running away with my stuff.
Awesome, brave kid. Wow. I wonder, if odinga had a son would he look like this kid or like Tarvon ?? I know… Tarvon.
Sounds like good parenting.
Good on Dad for teaching him the right stuff and good o the kid for having the right stuff!
This young man has a POWERFUL brain.I hope
he stays away from the thug-gangsta-rap-is-crap folks
and becomes anothen Ben Carson.
The words that stood out, to me, as THE difference maker: grabbed my rifle
Without this fact he would have had to do something entirely different – and probably fail.
We need more of this in a responsible way.
Teach ’em young, I say. I’ve been shooting since the age of 6.
My own Dad walked into a Montgomery Wards and legally bought a bolt action .22 rifle for $13.00 when he was THIRTEEN.
I still have that legacy rifle.
Excellent point, Dadof4. The young man’s parents taught him gun ownership is a major responsibility, not to be taken lightly or used for criminal activity. No doubt this is a conservative family.
excellent point!
that was the line I noticed.
almost brought tears to my eyes just reading it.
“grabbed MY rifle”
how many metro’s in todays world can repeat that line?
